Roddy Road from the Churchpoint Road Roundabout to Weber City Road is scheduled to close on Monday, June 1st.
The closure will allow for the removal and replacement of the bridge over Bayou Narcisse. This closure, a part of the Roddy Road Widening Project, is expected to last through the end of 2026.
Residents are strongly encouraged to use alternate east-west routes, such as Weber City Road (LA 429), Bayou Narcisse Road (LA 935) and Black Bayou Road (LA 934), during this time to mitigate the opportunity for congestion along Churchpoint Road
