The Arc of East Ascension is proud to announce the return of its highly anticipated annual fundraiser, Dancing for a Cause 2026, set to take place on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 7:00 PM at the REV Building at Lamar Dixon Expo Center. This year’s exciting theme, “Dancing Through the Decades,” promises an unforgettable evening of music, entertainment, and community celebration.
Guests will enjoy a high-energy showcase featuring dance performances inspired by favorite musical eras throughout the decades and dinner.
From classic hits to retro favorites, the event will celebrate the joy of dance while raising critical funds to support individuals in the community living with mental and physical disabilities.
Proceeds from Dancing for a Cause directly benefit participants served by The Arc of East Ascension through programs and services that promote independence, inclusion, advocacy, and quality of life. The organization continues to make a lasting impact by providing resources and opportunities for individuals with disabilities and their families across the community.
