St. Amant FFA recognized by Louisiana House of Representatives

St. Amant FFA was named National Champions in the Building Communities Division by the National FFA Organization at the National FFA Convention in October.

What makes this even more special is that our students and Chapter were recognized on the floor of the Louisiana House of Representatives by Reps. Joseph A. Orgeron and Bacala for the impact they are making right here in Louisiana, with a house resolution.

Thank you for taking the time to recognize our students and program during Coastal Wetlands Day at the Capitol.

Through our Coastal Restoration Heroes project, these students:

🌱 Planted thousands of native plants
🌊 Helped restore Louisiana’s coast
🤝 Gave hundreds of hours back to their community
📣 Developed over 454 advocates for coastal restoration

This isn’t just an award—this is students stepping up, serving their community, and making a real difference. Learning, growing, and becoming the next coastal stewardess of tomorrow.
