The Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program is helping eligible seniors in Louisiana enjoy fresh, locally grown produce and honey from approved farmers’ markets and roadside stands.
If you or a loved one is age 60 or older and meet income requirements, you may qualify to receive $30 in food benefits to spend on healthy, nutritious options grown right here in our community.
This is a great opportunity to support local farmers while also prioritizing your health and wellness.
Applications must be completed online through the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry.
