Ascension Public Schools is proud to announce the appointment of Karen Daigle as Supervisor of Primary Schools.
Karen Daigle has dedicated 28 years to serving students and families in Ascension Public Schools, building a strong foundation of leadership and educational excellence throughout her career.
Daigle earned both a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master of Education degree from Southeastern Louisiana University.
During her time with Ascension Public Schools, Daigle has served in a variety of instructional and leadership roles, including third grade teacher at Dutchtown Primary and Duplessis Primary, Teacher Coach at Prairieville Primary, and Master Teacher at Donaldsonville Primary and Lowery Elementary. She later served as Assistant Principal and Principal at Lowery Elementary and has served as Principal at Galvez Primary since 2022.
“I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to continue serving Ascension Public Schools in this new role. Every experience throughout my career has prepared me for this moment, and I’m proud to work alongside dedicated educators and leaders who care deeply about our students, schools, and community,” said Daigle.
She is married to Eddie Daigle, and they have two children: Brandon and Brooke along with two grandsons: Parker and Nolan.
