Parish Utilities of Ascension has earned an A grade on the 2025 Water Grade Report from the Louisiana Department of Health Louisiana Department of Health—receiving a perfect 100/100 score and Ascension Consolidated Utility District 1 also earned an A Grade with detailed scoring reflecting an even more impressive 105% overall score after bonus points for proactive asset management, system planning, maintenance programs, and continued participation in management and capacity development training. Both water utilities service the West Bank of Ascension Parish.
The report recognized Ascension with zero deductions across key categories including federal water quality, state water quality, financial sustainability, operations and maintenance, infrastructure, and customer satisfaction—a strong reflection of the work happening behind the scenes each day to provide safe, dependable water service to our community.
