Ascension Parish Recycling Centers continue to serve the community by providing responsible options to reduce waste and protect our environment.

Through the combined efforts of Ascension Parish DPW East and DPW West, participation has increased year over year — and it shows in the numbers:

Vehicles Served:

  • 17,611 vehicles in 2024
  • 18,389 vehicles in 2025

Recycling Collected:

  • 147,340 pounds in 2024
  • 422,580 pounds in 2025

Gonzales Recycling Center:

42077 Church Point Rd.
Monday–Thursday: 7 AM – 4 PM
Friday: Closed
Saturday: 9 AM – 1 PM
Sunday: Closed

Donaldsonville Recycling Center:

2171 D. Thibaut Dr.
Monday–Thursday: 7 AM – 4 PM
Friday-Sunday: Closed
