This day represents so much more than cutting a ribbon. It represents rebuilding, resilience, and a promise kept to the people of St. Amant following the 2016 flood.
Together with our library system, Ascension Parish Government has created a space built for connection, learning, and opportunity for residents of all ages. From innovative educational tools and creative resources to spaces for gathering, recreation, and community events, this facility is designed to serve every corner of our parish.
Even more, it stands ready to serve in times of need as an emergency response and distribution site—built with the future in mind.
This is what it looks like when a community comes together, and it’s a powerful example of what we mean when we say: Ascension Means Business.
