Spreading hope this season…become a CASA volunteer

Be their hope. Be a CASA-ASC

Voice…it’s what so many people have, but don’t realize how impactful it can be. There are many children in our community who have lost their voice, thus losing their hope for a brighter future.

There are children in Ascension Parish who have become involved in the Court system at no fault of their own because of the abuse or neglect they experienced at the hand of someone they trusted.

Child Advocacy Services Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Program trains everyday community members to advocate for a child in foster care. CASA volunteers bring hope to children who may have none. If you have been thinking about how you can spread hope this season, visit Child Advocacy Services’ website at www.childadv.net under the “Become a Volunteer” tab for more information.

By becoming a CASA, you can change a child’s story and improve the community by helping those in need. Call 225-647-2005 or email sbreeden@childadv.net to become a child advocate.
