Justice of the Peace candidate garners endorsement from DA Ricky Babin

Early Voting for the November 13 election for Justice of the Peace, 3rd Justice Court commences tomorrow through next Saturday (October 30-November 6, exclusive of Sunday).  In a three-person race to fill the post, Lynelle Johnson has received an endorsement from Ascension District Attorney.

Dear Friends:

I would like to take this opportunity to express my support and endorsement of Lynelle Johnson as our next Justice of the Peace for Third Justice Court in Ascension Parish.  Lynelle possesses the intelligence, demeanor and honesty to be an effective and successful Justice of the Peace.

Justice of the Peace courts hand “small claims” and other very important cases such as evictions.  The users of this court largely handle their matters without legal counsel.  Lynelle has the patience, understanding and compassion to assist and help our citizens weave through the legal barriers to achieve a just result.  Also, Lynelle will be a full-time public servant.  She will have no other jobs or professions but will dedicate one hundred percent of her time to our community as Justice of the Peace.

I humbly ask you to join me and support Lynelle Johnson for Justice of the Peace.  Election Day is Saturday, November 13, 2021 and early voting begins on Saturday, October 30, 2021 through November 6, 2021.

Sincerely Yours,

Ricky L. Babin, District Attorney
