Resolution ­ providing for canvassing the returns and declaring the result of the special election held in the Parish of Ascension, State of Louisiana (the “Parish”), on Saturday, August 15, 2020, to authorize the levy and collection of a 5.6 mills ad valorem tax for a period of ten (10) years, beginning with the year 2021 and ending with the year 2030, for the purpose of maintaining and supporting the Ascension Parish Library and its branches (Bond Counsel Malcolm Dugas)
c. Approval of Proces Verbal to canvass the votes cast at the election held in the Parish of Ascension, on Saturday, August 15, 2020 for the Ascension Parish Library to levy and collect a 5.6 mills tax on all the property subject to taxation in the Parish (an estimated $9,535,200.00 is reasonably expected at this time to be collected from the levy of the tax for an entire year), for a period of ten (10) years, beginning with the year 2021 and ending with the year 2030, for the purpose of maintaining and supporting the Ascension Parish Library and its branches, such tax to be in lieu of the 2.6 mills and 4.2 mills taxes currently being levied for the same purpose (Bond Counsel Malcolm Dugas)
d. Resolution ­ providing for canvassing the returns and declaring the result of the special election held in the Parish of Ascension, State of Louisiana (the “Parish”), on Saturday, August 15, 2020, to authorize the renewal of the levy and collection of a two (2) mills ad valorem tax for a period of ten (10) years, beginning in the year 2021 and ending in the year 2030, for the purpose of maintaining and supporting a mental health program in the Parish (Bond Counsel Malcolm Dugas)
e. Approval of Proces Verbal to canvass the votes cast at the election held in the Parish of Ascension on Saturday, August 15, 2020 to renew the levy and collection of a two (2) mill tax on all property subject to taxation in the Parish (an estimated $2,893,844.00 reasonably expected at this time to be collected from the levy of the tax for an entire year) (the “Tax”), for a period of ten (10) years, beginning with the year 2021 and ending with the year 2030, for the purpose of maintaining and supporting a mental health program in the Parish (Bond Counsel Malcolm Dugas)
