Ascension Parish website now offers full meeting agendas (including packets)

Ascension Parish President Clint Cointment announced today that as part of his mission to make parish government more open and transparent, all Council and committee meeting agendas – including all support documents and materials – can be viewed and downloaded on the parish website.

“With this advancement, the public can now see everything the Council sees when they are debating an issue,” said Cointment.

Available through an application called CivicClerk, anyone with access to a computer can view current and former agendas and each agenda item’s supporting documents, which can also be
downloaded and saved.

The full agenda for tonight’s February 6 Council meeting is online and available.

“I want to commend our Technology Department for making this happen,” said Cointment. “It helps us to keep the public more informed, and government more accountable.”

To access CivicClerk, visit, click on the “Government” tab on top of the page, then click “Meeting Agendas and Minutes.”
